This distinctive silver coin is part of the Silent Film Classics series and commemorates Georges Méliès’ legendary 1902 film A Trip to the Moon. This film was one of the first iconic works of science fiction in the history of cinema and forever changed the perception of what cinema could be.
The reverse depicts the iconic face of the Moon, into which a space capsule crashes, surrounded by a fantastic lunar landscape. The coin comes in a case with a certificate of authenticity. The mintage is limited to only 500 pieces worldwide.
